What is the TowRescue® ?

The TowRescue is the heavy-duty version of the TurboSwing. The perfect solution for rescue brigades, coastguards, the police, fire brigades, the armed forces and other organisations that employ work boats. The TowRescue can be used professionally for various towing activities and also protects the motor.

 

Where is the TowRescue used?

The applications include towing life rafts, lifelines, pontoons, oil booms and boats in an emergency.

 

Quick release

The TowRescue can be supplied including a quick release that is attached to a pulley.
The quick release allows the tow rope to be disconnected within a fraction of a second.

 

Maximum stability

Towing occurs from a low attachment point with the forces acting through the point of rotation of the boat. This offers maximum manoeuvrability and stability of the boat, while also protecting the vulnerable outboard motor.


The TowRescue is suitable for work boats with an outboard motor:

  • rescue RIBs, patrol RIBs, coach RIBs 
  • boats with a solid hull 
  • motors from 30-150 hp
